My Summer
This summer, in July, I traveled 3 hours to Prineville, OR. I usually go with my aunt, cousins, and two people I call my grandparents. It always seems so long of a drive, but that's just the excitement building in. I always love the drive to prineville though, the view is great.. In some areas there will be so much fog, sun, wind, ect. I take so many photos going there, more than I take while I'm there I think. While there, we go to Prineville Reservoir. When we get there we set up the tent on the beach, park the RV, and put the boat in the boat area.
When it starts to become dark it's so great to eat food and sit by the fire, under the stars. It's crazy when it gets dark, you can't see the water at all. It's like you're in this big dome with stars just everywhere you look.
The mornings are fun, waking up at 6 AM drinking coffee, and going fishing with my aunt, her boyfriend, uncle, and grandpa. This year we had some troubles with the boat so my little cousins would get so mad when we'd come back because they wanted to go tubing. So we couldn't go tubing for the first couple days until the boat was fixed..
Also, there were two-three days of thunderstorms which in my opinion was awesome! The thunder was crazy and all you hear is *boom* "wow!!!" And the way the lightning strikes over the hills was amazing also.
Skipping to the last day.. On the last day of vacation I ended up in the hospital. I passed out while inner-tubing I don't really remember what happened. But I got a concussion, minor spinal strain, and temporary short term memory loss. I do remember sleeping a lot on the way back.
But this is always my favorite trip of the summer, inner-tubing, wake boarding, fishing, awesome food, ect.
