Project 4

This kaleidoscope is a picture of grass cropped out the lightest part

This kaleidoscope is a picture of a sidewalk

This kaleidoscope was made from a picture of a water fountain, cropped on the water

With this diptych, I put them together and saw that the complements between the leaf and the pine needles looked really nice. Also, there is some smoothness and roughness in texture in both photos. The snow is smooth as the pine needles give a rough texture.

Project 3- Colors and Grids

With this project we explored color, learning new ways and looking deep within the meaning of those colors. Learning how different colors create mood and what its meaning may be.

Mood
I took this photo at the beach this last summer. I changed the photo to a black and white image. When I look at it I see a storm symbolizing anger possibly. Although it's just a photo of the ocean, there can be so much meaning behind the photo.

You see a gloomy image, I see a mood that shows anger or possibly sadness, but soon all the fog will clear up and show these beautiful colors that lay underneath the clouds.

Project 2- Framing and Composition

For this project we shot photos of 8 compositional techniques; Rule of Thirds, Frame within a Frame, Close up, Birds Eye View, Bugs Eye View, Leading Lines, Diagonals, and Filling the Frame.
I shot these photos on my phone, nothing fancy. The photos I'm posting below are my 8 best photos out of the project. I didn't do much editing to them except for some cropping and enhancing.
